Remembering who we are gives us courage! We are daughters
of the King! Because of the Cross, we can walk in courage. The
Apostle Paul reminds us "We are more than conquerors"
(Romans 8:37). How? Through Him who loved us! God gives us
strength and victory through the power of the Holy Spirit. He
loves us! He is our Savior; we can live and serve Him freely!
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this
is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8). The
word "gift" means you do not work for it, you simply receive His
gift of saving grace. Our hope is in our Savior, not our works, we
can courageously walk in freedom as daughters of the King!
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own
understanding" (Proverbs 3:5). According to Strong's
Concordance, the word "lean" translated means to lean on or rely
on. Leaning on our own understanding mean to rely on our
own intellect, training, and experience more than we rely on
God. We want to use those things, which are gifts from God
and make our primary reliance on God!
