WE CAN BE LIKE THE PROVERBS 31 WOMAN
Do Not Listen To The Enemy!
Do not listen to the enemy, listen to the Holy Spirit! We can be like the Proverbs 31Woman! A woman of noble character. First, one way to look at being like the Proverbs 31 Woman is to remember that we are not perfect! In a world, where society places so many demands on us, it is impossible to please everyone! We can have victory and strength, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (Hebrews 4:16 KJV). We can live and serve Christ freely. We can be women of great courage, without any doubt and fear through the power of the Holy Spirit.
We Are Striving…
Secondly, we are striving to be like the Proverbs 31 Woman. That means we are making great efforts to achieve being like the Proverbs 31 Woman! It is easy to get caught up in thinking of being a Proverbs 31 Woman as certain requirements for a job description or thinking we must live a perfect lifestyle. That is not the case! We cannot think like that or we will fail! Yes, we should try to be intentional in our thoughts and behaviors. Will we make mistakes? Yes! We can learn from our mistakes, ask forgiveness, and move forward in life! As a Proverbs 31 Woman, we are taking the opportunity each day to be more Christ-like and being transformed into His image. We will not be perfect, and we will not be flawless, but we will strive to be like Christ when we choose to follow the Proverbs 31 Woman model.
Ups and Downs!
We will have ups and downs, we will have good days, we will have bad days, but that does not change our attitudes and efforts of striving to become a Proverbs 31 Woman. Our hope is in Jesus Christ! We have been given a gift from God when we received His grace of salvation. We can walk courageously in freedom as daughters of the King! It is only by God’s mercy and His redeeming love through Jesus Christ that we are saved! Proverbs 31 Woman is about the woman you are and the woman you can be in Christ and only in Christ! It is recognizing that we are only saved by grace, by God’s amazing grace! “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God” (Ephesians 2:8 NIV).
